"Be FEARLESS in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire." A Podcast Episode featuring Alexandra Talty

Picture
"Be FEARLESS in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire."

As many of you know, I LOVE supporting and meeting new women on Instagram and IRL. One of those incredible women is named Alexandra Talty.  Alexandra and I met on Instagram now a little over a year ago. At the time, I was starting a podcast and thought she would be the perfect guest, you'll read why in a little bit.

I've recently taken a bit of time to myself and haven't been writing as much BUT after meeting Alexandra in person I was thinking about this podcast and asked you all if I should post. You said YES! SO here it is, and it couldn't be better timing because cueing up the podcast one of the things that stood out to me was the quote."Be FEARLESS in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire." this is something we should always hold onto and an important reminder for me right now and hopefully after listening to this podcast you'll be inspired to embody this quote as well.

Now without further ado, I hope you enjoy this podcast! AND if you enjoyed don't be disappointed as I will have a talk show dropping in a couple of weeks that I CAN NOT wait to share with all of you.

A little background on Miss Alexandra Talty before you listen...

Alexandra is a writer and a self declared part-time fish from Southhampton, NY. She has written for publications such as Forbes, Playboy, and Outside magazine. What is soo inspiring about this woman is that she built this career while living in the Middle East (Lebanon). She did not let outside opinions sway her from living in this taboo place and neither should you when it comes to following your dreams and living your life.

Hope you enjoying hearing her inspiring story, you'll see that she really truly embodies the quote "Be FEARLESS in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire."

Don't forget to follow her on instagram HERE and read one of her latest articles "Exploring Sri Lanka's Wild Coast in Yala National Park" HERE.

Xoxo,
@kellithinks

Some Things She Stands For:

Trade: "Warren is a critic of the North American Free Trade Agreement, or NAFTA, and blames U.S. trade policy more generally for widening economic inequality in the country.
While she favors renegotiating NAFTA, she argues the deal Trump struck with Canada and Mexico in 2018 will have few benefits for American workers." Source: PBS

Rebuild the Middle Class: "That means putting power back in the hands of workers and unions. It also means transforming large American companies by letting their workers elect at least 40% of the company’s board members to give them a powerful voice in decisions about wages and outsourcing. And it means a new era of strong antitrust enforcement so giant corporations can’t stifle competition, depress wages, and drive up the cost of everything from beef to Internet access." Source (And Please Read More): Warren 2020

Equal Justice Under Law:  "We need criminal justice reform and we need it now. That means ending racial disparities in our justice system. It means banning private prisons. It means embracing community policing and demilitarizing our local police forces. It means comprehensive sentencing reform and rewriting our laws to decriminalize marijuana." Source: Warren 2020

The plan would require electric utilities to use 80 percent renewable resources by 2027 and 100 percent by 2035." Source: PBS

  • Less Military Presence in Foreign Conflicts: "Gabbard believes the U.S. should be less involved in foreign conflicts and have a smaller troop presence in many places around the world. She has specifically called on the U.S. military to pull out of Afghanistan, arguing that American troops completed their mission there andallow the country to chart its own course." Source: PBS

  • Free Education: "She backs Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’ proposal to cut or eliminate higher education tuition for most Americans. She would make community college tuition-free for all Americans, and four-year public colleges tuition-free for students whose families make $125,000 or less per year.
